Isabell joined the Mwanzo program in January 2022 and was part of the 11th cohort. During her time in the program, she was very committed and maintained perfect attendance. She expressed her intentions to pursue beauty therapy and worked towards attaining a scholarship from the foundation.
Isabell managed to attain the scholarship which provided her the opportunity to undertake an internship at Ralph Hairworks and Barber Shop and catered for her necessities. This internship has given Isabelle hands-on learning experience as she interacts with professionals in the field and handles clients on a day-to-day basis. She reports that this opportunity has allowed her to hone her skills and exposed her to new trends in the beauty space.
Isabelle looks forward to completing her internship and immersing herself in the practice.
