Problem Statement .
Young women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds face numerous challenges, including insecurity, gender-based violence, lack of basic needs, poor education, and adverse health outcomes. The lack of sustainable income exacerbates these issues. Good Kenyan aims to respond to the needs of young women from low-income rural communities, assisting them in breaking the cycle of poverty.
Targeted Program Participants
The project targets young women aged 18-25 from low-income rural communities in Turbo Constituency, Uasin Gishu County. Special considerations include differently-abled women, those in extreme poverty, teenage mothers without support, and talented women lacking opportunities.
